Our mission is to build peace through active and collaborative engagement in resolving conflict in the communities we serve.
We believe in the abiding peace-building and conflict resolution principles of democracy, consent, ‘an inclusive negotiation process’ and ‘a non-violent approach’. It is these principles that were at the heart of the Northern Ireland peace process and we seek to promote their use in other areas of conflict.
We want to help bring together groups from within and across divided societies, including state and non-state organisations, combatants and non-combatants, political parties, religious and faith based groups and other community representatives; to promote trust and understanding through dialogue and build a sustainable peace as a means of resolving conflict at all levels.
